Onwards and Upwards for Award-winning Leigh House

We caught up with Sonia Padgett to find out the latest news from Leigh House, near Leeds, which won officebroker.com's Business Centre of the Month award in October 2010.

In October, Leigh House - a Leeds-based serviced office and conference room location - won officebroker.com's Business Centre of the Month award for its professionalism, supportive business environment and excellent level of service.
The award scheme, which was first launched back in April 2010, is designed to celebrate business centres that provide excellence as standard, and Jim Venables chose Leigh House as October’s winner based on its "quality, high-class environment" for businesses.
"Leigh House offers a first-rate offering to clients," Jim commented. "Sonia Padgett and the team work extremely hard to create a professional environment for businesses to thrive and grow, and they are a great advocate for the industry."
Three months on, it's clear that Leigh House are certainly not standing still. According to Sonia, since winning the award in October, Leigh House has undergone refurbishing work to the exterior and internal offices. "As a Grade II* Listed Building, we ensure the standard of such an aged building is kept to a high standard," she said.
The team also organised their first networking event in November 2010, which turned out to be a great success, and they are now planning another event in March 2011 which is open to existing clients as well as local businesses. The events are designed to help both existing and prospective clients to generate new business opportunities together, as well as raise the profile of Leigh House in the surrounding area.
"We know it will be another fantastic turnout!" commented Sonia Padgett, whose drive and commitment has turned Leigh House into an award-winning business centre.
Commenting on becoming officebroker.com's Business Centre of the Month, she said: "We felt very honoured that we were the first serviced office in Leeds, West Yorkshire to win such an award."
As part of their award, Leigh House received a video of their business centre which was produced and edited by officebroker.com, complete with a scripted voiceover.
"As we continue to increase tenancy and receive more enquiries, we received a fantastic marketing tool from officebroker.com, the Video Tour, which has already seen numerous hits on You Tube alone," Sonia commented. "This is an excellent means for any serviced office to promote themselves and has been very useful to us."
The level of professionalism at the centre, which is managed by Sonia, has continued to bring plenty of praise from satisfied tenants such as Mike Heseltine from G2 Speech UK Ltd.
"We are extremely happy with our decision to move to Leigh House," said Mike. "The service we have received from Sonia and the team here has been excellent. The pleasant surroundings and well-presented offices have provided us with a great working environment."
With 2011 now well underway, Sonia and the team at the award-winning Leigh House are looking forward to the year ahead with plans to continue raising the profile of the centre, along with the support of officebroker.com, which Sonia describes as a "first-rate working relationship".
